Sam Prior

Sam joined Ternan in the spring of 2023 after gaining 5 years of experience in the on-shore site investigation sector. Since completing a BSc in Geology at the University of Southampton, he has gained experience in scoping, supervising and managing geotechnical site investigation projects of various scales as well as foundation design.

In his spare time Sam enjoys DJing, producing music and collecting records. He has DJed in clubs in Brighton, London and Bristol. He also enjoys cooking and learning new recipes/techniques.

Experience Summary

• Geotechnical site investigation experience coving the complete life cycle from premobilisation planning, to logging and overseeing the site works.
• Experience in a wide range of site investigation techniques used nearshore and onshore.
• Experience in shallow foundation and pile design.
