Following a period of sustained growth, Ternan Energy has announced two key hires and the formation of a Leadership Team to support our ambitious scale-up plans.

At Ternan Energy we are a fast growing Independent and Integrated Offshore Geoscience Consultancy, providing expert services across Offshore Wind, Oil and Gas and Subsea Cable industries to support the energy transition.

Founded by Mark Finch in 2016, Ternan Energy was established not only to fill a gap that existed by bringing all the Geoscience disciplines together into one integrated offering, but to provide honest and unbiased advice to its clients.  With Integrity, Independence and Innovation as our core principles, we continue to support project developers by providing the advice they need, not just the advice they want.

Euan Marjoribanks

Euan joins as Sales and Marketing Manager to lead on Ternan's client focused activities.  Euan has an impressive background in Business Development and Key Account Management gained working within the energy sector.

James Miller

James joins us as Operations Manager. James' remit will be across all Ternan services and he will take the lead on the rapidly growing Client Representative service. James is ideally suited to taking this on, having spent a number of years in leadership roles within the geotechnical industry. 

Completing the newly formed Leadership Team are founder Mark Finch, Geoscience Director and Principal Geophysicist Alex Searle alongside Commercial Manager, India Grimbley.

As a business, Ternan’s reputation has grown and we are now in the enviable position of having considerable experience in providing expert input right across the offshore energy sector.  We are now the largest Independent Offshore Geoscience consultancy Headquartered in Scotland, and are well positioned to support the expanding offshore energy sector, both in the UK and globally.

In addition to new hires, Ternan Energy have this year moved to larger offices at our Headquarters, Neo House in Aberdeen, and have plans for a Bristol UK office in early 2024.
